“We needed help digesting the detail of our annual activities into a review that would enable our members to see at a glance the many ways in which we support them. Cath was quick to grasp what we needed, and produced a well-written, concise and bright summary. With multiple stakeholders and a changing brief, she nonetheless kept the project tightly on schedule so that we could show off the new format at our annual conference.”

“I volunteer at our local community hub in Keynsham, Community at 67 by running an after school Maths Club aimed at years 5 and 6 of the junior school. We try to have fun with this beautiful subject and to show how relative it is in the real world outside the classroom. Trying something different this year I devised a maths trail, an A4 booklet based on Keynsham Civic centre which proved to be very popular with our members.
I asked for Catherine’s help in marketing it more widely and she came up with many good ideas. She gave me names of contacts in many schools and suggested funding streams.
The icing on the cake for us is her offer to take my original Word document and turn it into an interactive pdf, something beyond our skills at 67.In this form it is likely to prove more attractive to schools as it will be cheaper than producing hard copies and may have more appeal for students.
It’s never easy to interest people in mathematics but Catherine really “got” what we are trying to do – thank you Catherine."
